Eliminate Your Cravings Within Minutes With EFT
Does that chocolate bar enchant you against your will?
Does that cigarette seduce you into smoking – even though you know you should quit?
When you just gotta have it, you know it’s a real craving – a powerful and overwhelming urge triggered by emotions, anxiety or stress. Your rational mind says “No!” but your subconscious mind screams “Do it!” — and so you do. Your willpower withers and you reach for that candy bar or cigarette.
Overcome Your Emotional Overeating
“Diets never work for me! There’s no way I will ever reach my goal weight.” Sound familiar?
Diets fail because they don’t address the underlying emotions at the root of your weight problem. Understanding and releasing the emotions that drive you to overeat is the key to long-lasting weight reduction.
In part 1 of this article, Eliminate Your Cravings Within Minutes, we explored how to stop cravings as the first step to weight loss. Now we will see how the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) can help you release the emotions that keep you from success in managing your weight.

Do your New Year’s Resolutions go up in smoke?
“Dear Freya: It’s driving me nuts! I’ve tried to stop smoking for three years in a row but every time my New Years Resolutions just go up in smoke” wrote one of my readers, Karl. “I stop cigarettes for maybe 3-4 weeks, start gaining weight, sneak in a smoke and then I’m back in just as bad as before. What can I do to break this cycle?”
The Key to Cancer Treatment: Integrate Body and Mind and Spirit
Does the word “cancer” scare you?
Do you feel anger and hopelessness about cancer? The life-threatening aspect of cancer is so overpowering that we often overlook that it is a signal of our body that our emotions are stressed – and out of balance.
Negative emotions, anxieties and stress disrupt our body’s energy system and aggravate (and sometimes even cause!) serious diseases such as cancer.
To regain a balanced and healthy body it is important to look at your whole being and integrate your body with your mind, emotions and spirit.

Dear Freya, “When I am stressed I feel out of kilter and un-centered. How can I stabilize myself?”
This is a typical question I hear in my coaching sessions. When we are stressed we are filled with unresolved emotions: feeling impatient, disconnected, irritated, frustrated, restless and even scatterbrained.
The energy of these emotions bounces through our body and throws us off balance. Like an electrical instrument, we need grounding or we might burn a fuse. “Burning out” in the human body translates into a weak immune system and increased risk of developing a serious disease.
One effective way to regain balance is to ground yourself – and you can do it within a couple minutes. Here’s how… To read more download the full article as PDF file: Get Grounded to Release Stress and Regain Balance
The Hidden Power of Forgiveness
“Dear Freya: I hang on to old grudges and don’t know how to let go” wrote one of my readers, Elizabeth. “Especially during the holiday season I feel I should forgive but I am overwhelmed with resentment and hurt”
Hanging on to resentment and old grudges costs us a lot in emotional energy – it creates a constant low level of stress and wears us down over time.
Forgiveness and acceptance are often confused with condoning behavior that we believe is wrong. It can feel like being weak and giving in. However, forgiving is a very courageous act of freeing ourselves to be at peace with others – and with ourselves.

“Dear Freya, It’s really rough going from work to home” writes one of my readers, Maria. “What’s the trick to really leaving work behind so I can fully enjoy being with my family?”No doubt about it, transitions are often hard, but the key is to make these transitions consciously.
On Being Perfect: Part 1: Peer Pressure… Or Inner Calling?
Do you really want to be perfect?
Are you constantly alert to the imperfections and failures of yourself and others?
Do you pay meticulous attention to details and try to control every situation?
If you’ve been trained since childhood to strive for perfection, to avoid mistakes at all costs and to look strong in all situations, you’ll spend an enormous amount of energy trying to be perfect – and you’ll miss out on the fun side of life.
Instead of being on autopilot and blindly moving on the path to perfectionism, take a moment to question, assess, clarify and evaluate where you are going – and why. By clarifying your motivation and your goal or endpoint you can save yourself from wasting a lot of energy on a foggy path to perfectionism.
